We borrowed Tom's (Jeni's boss) surburban to go to the Door Store, only to find out we needed measurements :-) We drove back to the condo (this is not a short drive), took said measurements and went BACK to the door store.
Where we promptly purchased our pocket doors. 2 Beautiful fluted and frosted glass doors. Once installed, they will look SPECTACULAR!
TIME TO PRIME!
The last 2 days was spent using TSP to wipe down the walls. 6 buckets of dirty water later, the bedroom walls were clean. Tonight we primed the bedroom walls with Killz. I have no brain cells left. The fumes were so strong, it made my head spin. AJA (against Jeni's advice) I did not wear a mask (she made me write that). I will be picking one up at the local Home Depot tomorrow. They are made by 3M (wink, wink brother dearest).
It's starting to look better already!
